fiber 2.41 g per 100g.
Blueberries rank #1 in
antioxidant activity when compared to 40 other fresh fruits
and vegetables. Antioxidants help neutralize harmful by-products
of
metabolism called "free radicals" that can lead to cancer
and other age related diseases.
A compound in blueberries can
promote urinary tract health and reduce the risk of infection.It appears to work by preventing bacteria from
adhering to the cells that line the walls of the urinary
tract.
One study documented that
blueberries helped ease eye fatigue. Blueberries are also
used in cancer inhibition and stroke.

blueberries are dehydrated in a number of methods to produce
a dried fruit for the retail snack and also food processing
industry.
Liquid: Blueberries are
processed into a number of liquid forms for use in beverages
and dairy products. This includes single strength blueberry
juice, blueberry purees and concentrates of different brix
levels.
Frozen blueberries: Frozen
blueberries contain the beneficial vitamins and minerals of
the fresh berry as well as beneficial antioxidants and
phytochemicals.
